Coraline book and necklace

This was taken in the photo lab at my school. I wanted to create a promotional piece for my Coraline inspired necklace. Many elements from the movie and book are present like the key and the stones. (the green stones represent the stone Coraline got from her neighbors). The web is inspired by how it appeared in the movie.
To achieve how the web looks I took the picture with a web drawn on bristol board. Once I got the picture into photoshop I faded and blured the web. Then I took the pencil tool to re-draw the web. Some parts are still faded and I kept that way because it looked 3-D.
